Bodo Schäfer is a German author, speaker and entrepreneur. Also known as a money coach, he gives many lectures on topics such as money, wealth and positioning. Bodo Schäfer was born in Cologne and also grew up there. According to his own statements, his upbringing was religious. When he was 16, he went to California to attend high school. Immediately after his return to Germany, Bodo Schäfer began studying law. Bodo Schäfer started his career in Germany in the mid-1990s when he started writing books. According to his own statements, he stopped lecturing in Germany around 2002 and went to Eastern Europe as a lecturer on the subject of financial freedom. From 2002 he appeared in Moscow and Riga, among other places.
In addition to his activities as a lecturer, Bodo Schäfer also worked, among other things, he was an insurance agent for Hamburg Mannheimer Insurance from the 1980s to 1990s. A little later, Bodo Schäfer founded his first company, Schäfer Finanz Coaching GmbH, which existed under the later company name FCM Finanz Coaching GmbH until the year 2000. Immediately afterwards, Bodo Schäfer founded the next company, fin.wis.media GmbH, in 2001, which still exists today as AHEAD Products GmbH and with Bodo Schäfer as sole managing director. At the same time, Bodo Schäfer founded the company AHEAD Seminare & Coaching GmbH in 2000, which was dissolved in 2007. The remaining assets were distributed among the other shareholders by the appointed liquidator. In 2006, Bodo Schäfer founded the successful financial sales company Reintgen & Schäfer invest GmbH in cooperation with Bernd Reintgen. After the business operations of the company Finanzvertrieb Reintgen & Schäfer invest GmbH were transferred to the new Bodo Schäfer Akademie GmbH in 2014, he continued to run this company alone.
Also in 2000, Bodo Schäfer founded the non-profit foundation Children – Our Future, which is based in Bergisch Gladbach. The two shareholders, Badma Baasansuren and Bodo Schäfer, act as board members of the foundation. This foundation has been recognized by the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia and aims to promote the training and education of young people and children, with orphans in particular. The affected children and young people are provided with mentors who support them in developing their own goals and perspectives. Another task of the foundation is to get involved in direct cooperation with the aid organization Deutsche Welthungerhilfe for the construction of schools and training centers on the African continent.
