David Hasselhoff was born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, on July 17, 1952. He is an American actor and singer of German ancestry. He is best known for his two starring roles in the television series Knight Rider and Baywatch. He was also known for various musical publications.
After birth and childhood, David Hasselhoff quickly discovered his acting talents, which he was able to demonstrate from 1975 to 1982 in the American soap opera The Young and the Restless. There he embodied the role of the young seducer Dr. Snapper Foster. In Germany, this series was broadcast by the Sat.1 broadcaster under the synonym Schatten der Passion.
