She inherited her musical talent from her father. Inka was discovered by talent scouts as a first-grader at the music school in Friedrichshain. She played the violin at the time and became a member of the Stamitz Orchestra in 1983 after graduating from school. She took singing and piano lessons and graduated in 1989 with “very good”. Her career continued with hosting, music singles and albums, and audio books. She is best known for her show “Bauer sucht Frau”, in which she has been bringing couples together since 2005. Inka was married to Hendrik Bruch from 1996 to 2005 and has a daughter with the composer and singer. Since then she has lived with her daughter in Berlin.
