Kevin James’ real name is Kevin Goerge Knipfing. He was born on April 26, 1965 in the town of Minola, Long Island, in the state of New York. By this time he was enjoying wrestling and was training at school with future professional wrestler Mick Foley. His breakthrough came at the Montreal Comedy Festival in 1996, where his guest appearances on the series Everyone Loves Raymond and Cosby helped immensely. Finally, in 1998, Kevin got his own sitcom, King of Queens. But he doesn’t give up stand-up comedy while touring the entire United States. The series ended after nine seasons in 2007 and made Kevin James a world star. Meanwhile, he also made his film debut in the movie Hitch.
