Garcia was born on August 17, 2000 in Miami, Florida. In a 2018 interview with J. Cole, the young rapper mentioned that his parents were from Colombia and divorced when Gazzi was 6 years old. And after the birth of an older half-brother, his mother moved to Miami. When Garcia was 13, his cousin Lil Ominous introduced the rapper to Omar’s Pineiro, better known by the alias Smokepurpp. As a result, the two began collaborating. Gazzi and Pineiro were expelled from many county schools.
