Sylvie Francoise Meis was born on April 13, 1978 in the Dutch city of Breda. Her mother is Belgian and her father is of Indonesian descent. Sylvie Meis has a brother. She trained as a human resources manager, but this job quickly became boring. Sylvie Meis knew that the world had more in store for her and became a model.
Due to her height of only 1.58 meters, she was unfortunately denied a career as a catwalk model. No problem for Sylvie Meis, who started a career in the television world instead: by moderating the television show “Fox Kids” from 2003, her level of awareness increased sharply, especially in the Netherlands.
