During an internship at RTL Radio, the pretty Mönchengladbach native took over the moderation of a sports program, to which she remained loyal for over 6 years. She also moderated the daily sports of the early RTL Plus magazine “Guten Morgen Deutschland” until she became an editor and television presenter at RTL in 1989. There, together with RTL editor-in-chief Peter Kloeppel, she presents the sports block competently and entertainingly every day. Together with Günther Jauch she moderated the “Big IQ Test” several times and with Hape Kerkeling the “Big German Test”.
Ulrike von der Greben moderates events at special events, sports or business negotiations, press conferences, conferences and exhibitions. With her charming and polite manner, she transforms your event into fascinating and sophisticated events.
After graduating, Ulrike von der Greben began an internship at RTL Radio in Luxembourg in 1985. She then moved to Cologne, worked as an editor in the RTL morning magazine Guten Morgen Deutschland and moderated the sports shop. Ulrike von Groeben has been an RTL editor and presenter since 1989. The moderator is privately married to the moderator Alexander von der Groeben. They have the children Caroline (20) and Maximilian (23). The latter is an actor and made his breakthrough with “Fack Ju Göhte”. There he played one of his students alongside Elias M’Barek (33) and became one of the newcomers in the film business.
Ulrike began her television career in 1982 as an external reporter. Four years later she hosted the first broadcast on television, followed by other formats. Ulrike was able to establish herself as the moderator of the current sports studio. In 1990 she signed a contract with the RTL television company in Cologne and since then has represented the weekly TV magazine in a private television company. This show has been shown for over 20 years. RTL television organized many other shows with the presenter, so that she became one of the most popular Germans in the future, which in turn could ensure good ratings that only Stefan Raab would otherwise have achieved. She also received many awards. In 2016 she received the Golden Camera, an audience award for the most popular presenter.
Ulrike currently receives a salary of 125,000 euros. RTL has had a popular quiz since 1999, in which participants can win up to one million euros. In 2006 she even received a German television award for the best entertainment show. According to Ulrike, there is also no written contract between her and RTL, since the relationship of trust between her and the private broadcaster is higher than a written contract can regulate. According to her, the salary remains the same as it was almost 20 years ago.
In addition to working as a presenter and entertainer, Ulrike operates her own production company in the entertainment show market. For example, the company produces some stricter television shows as well as some RTL shows hosted by Hape Kerkeling and Oliver Geissen. For this program alone, the television station paid around 270,000 euros for a production. The result is an unbelievable price per minute of a good 4488 euros. So far has not been announced.
