Uschi Glas’ real name is Helga Ursula Glas. She was born on March 2, 1944 and is a German actress.
Uschi Glas grew up with four older siblings in Landau an der Isar. After high school she worked as an accountant. After moving to Munich, she worked in a law firm and in a haulage company.
At a film premiere, she made an impression on the producer Horst Wendlandt at the reception, despite a few critical remarks from Uschi Glas towards him – or perhaps because of it. She landed her first small film role in the Edgar Wallace film The Uncanny Monk.
