Willi Herren was born under his real name Wilhelm Herren on June 17, 1975 in Cologne. Herren grew up poor and was interested in acting from an early age. At the age of 17 he landed his first role in the ARD series “Lindenstraße”.

Willi Herren left the successful series “Lindenstraße” after 170 episodes. Throughout the 1990s, he starred in other films and television series, including “Lola and Bilidikid”, “Alert for Cobra 11” and “Tatort”. With each additional role, the fame of the former actor increased.
